The CCA programme aims to:

3.Inculcate correct values and positive social attitudes.
4.Help pupils to develop healthy pursuits and cultivate proper use of leisure for a healthy lifestyle.
Gongshang Primary School strongly encourages all pupils from P3 upwards to have a CCA so as to experience a more holistic school experience. Besides discovering new talents and abilities, CCA also provides hands-on experience on time management techniques, relieve stress and build strong bodies for a healthier and more alert mind.
We provide a wide range of activities to cater to the varied needs and interests of our pupils despite the constraints of space and limited facilities. The activities can be broadly categorized into 4 groups namely: Sports Games, Music Dance Groups, Uniformed Group and Clubs Services.

The Scouts troop in Gongshang is very unique as it is also run and managed by MOE certified and trained volunteer adult leaders since its inception. They have provided a strong foundation for the cubs with their passion and devoted commitment. They are a dynamic and versatile team which has led the cubs to clinch the Frank Cooper Sands Gold Award from 2006 – 2011. In addition, the cubs have been clinching the AKELA Awards, with 4 of them being conferred the AKELA Awards (Honours) in 2012. From 2013, the cubs will be led by teachers.
The clubs cater to those who are more inclined towards creativity and analytical thinking.
