Parent Volunteers (PV)

Gongshang Primary School values the contributions of our PVs.

The PV scheme provides parents who have volunteered their time and effort in a primary school through priority during the P1 registration exercise.

Specifically, the children of PVs can register at the Phase 2B stage where:

• the parent has joined Gongshang Primary School as a parent volunteer not later than 1 July of the year before P1 registration and has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school by 30 June of the year of P1 registration, or

• parent is endorsed as an active community leader.

2026 Recruitment Exercise (Closed)

 Parent volunteer recruitment exercise for children who are born between 2 Jan 2021 and 1 Jan 2022 (both dates inclusive) is now closed. We no longer accept new applications and appeals are not accepted. For Parents who have applied, you will be informed of the application outcome via email by June 2026.

2027 Recruitment Exercise

 For children who are born between 2 Jan 2022 and 1 Jan 2023 (both dates inclusive), the details for parent volunteer recruitment exercise 2027 will be posted on our school website by end Feb/early Mar 2027.
